Types of Licenses
In the LSIA there are four types of licenses that someone can obtain. Each different type of license will have a different testing procedure and the types are based on the engine/propeller.
Helicopter License: ($12,500) This license will allow you to be able to fly any type of helicopter as long as it meets the standard safety requirements.
Single Engine License: ($15,000) This license will allow you to fly single engine aircraft. Planes like a Beachcraft or a Cessna (Dodo and Beagle). These planes don't really hit above 160 knots, they are not designed for long distance flights and are therefore used mainly for short flights.
Multi Engine License: ($20,000) This license allows you to fly plans that have multi engines. These planes are very powerful and hi tech machines, they need very good pilots to keep them in the air and are used by Airliners for they're commercial flights.
Important Notice: If you do take any of these licenses and pass, once you've got a plane/helicopter and are ready to fly you must contact ATC (/air) before leaving the ground, not doing this will result in your license will be removed and further action may be taken for entering the airspace without notice which is illegal and can put peoples lives in danger.
